Earliest digital memory
An odd square box on a table at school connected to a couple of cords which high achieving peers would gather around and play with at lunch. But it didn’t shape my life until I started work as a bush reporter and we would be sent press statements by ministers as faxes, and later have our stories digitised for transmission to press outlets interstate in the early 1990s.
