Dr Inés Dussel

Inés Dussel is full-time researcher at the Department of Educational Research, CINVESTAV, Mexico – a leading public research institution in Latin America. She got her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and served as Director of the Education Area, Latin American School for the Social Sciences (Argentina). She has published extensively on schooling, pedagogy, visual and digital media. She has been a visiting scholar at the Universities of Melbourne, Paris 8, and Humboldt-zu-Berlin. She is the co-editor of Pedagogica Historica. In 2018 she received the Humboldt Research Award in Germany, in recognition of her research trajectory.
