Dr Myrto Mavilidi

Dr Myrto Mavilidi is a Research Fellow at Early Start and School of Education at the University of Wollongong. Myrto’s research is interdisciplinary, combining educational psychology, exercise and cognition, as well as educational technology. Her expertise is in the area of school-based interventions to promote learning, cognitive, psychosocial and physical outcomes in children and adolescents. As an Associate Investigator for the Centre, Myrto is interested how technology can be used for educational purposes, enhancing children’s cognitive and physical outcomes.

Earliest digital memory
In primary school, I was shown the programming tool of a “turtle” to understand how to use a computer.
