Profile

Eleni Gill

Eleni’s MPhil seeks to determine whether primary school aged children’s moral self-concept (MSC) is extended, inhibited or unchanged when engaging in the digital playground. Studies into children’s development of MSC have traditionally focused on real-world play, however scant empirical research examines the effects on children’s MSC when engaging in online play.

Eleni hopes to find out whether children’s moral self-concept is affected by online play may provide a basis from which to influence prosocial online behaviours.

Earliest digital memory

I loved playing NBA Jam with my older brother growing up. I always beat him, at least that’s how I remember it 🙂
